The Ghosts Among Us

History permeates the buildings on the campus of William and Mary. This part of the country has fascinated many individuals with the ideas of ghosts and lost souls. As part of an Advanced Documentary Production class, 8 students explored this notion of ghost and spirits to produce this film.

Visualizing St. Petersburg

Visualizing St. Petersburg introduced Russian studies students on a 6-week study abroad experience videomaking training and equipment to deepen their abroad experience and question whether documentary filmmaking could improve oral competency in foreign languages.

Clean Hands Project

In the summer of 2008, thirteen Nepali activists and journalists, who are part of the Dalit ‘untouchable’ caste, used professional video and photography equipment within their communities. The Clean Hands Project offers a snapshot of their lives and the issues they and other Dalits face.
